Direct connection to Kyoto Station! Set meals featuring “Obanzai” and fresh sashimi
This restaurant is located inside the Porta underground shopping area, which connects directly to Kyoto Station. Enjoy a variety of reasonably-priced healthy dishes made with local Kyoto ingredients. The restaurant takes pride in its “Obanzai” (traditional Kyoto home cooking), side dishes made in Kyoto households since old days. The set meals are highly recommended, and include “Obanzai,” sashimi made with fresh fish straight from the market, rice, and soup. There is plenty of volume, so you’re sure to leave satisfied. A large selection of Japanese sake and a la carte items are also available. This restaurant is great for lunch or dinner, and we hope you’ll also stop by to enjoy a drink.

Oden: 5-Piece Sampler / ￥800
Oden is a dish made by gently simmering ingredients like daikon radish, eggs, and grilled tofu in a light soup made with Japanese “dashi.” The light and elegant flavor of the soup permeates the ingredients, and matches perfectly with Japanese sake. We recommended dipping the ingredients in some spicy mustard to add a little kick. *Oden ingredients can also be ordered separately. (180 yen each)
