Curry cutlets put on top of Chinese fried rice
You may be amazed by their famous dish called “Pine-Rice” in terms of the volume and the taste mixed all together with cutlets, curry and Chinese fried rice. “Pine” comes from French word “fine” which means “thin”. So their cutlets are thin but very juicy, and go very well with curry. Warm atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel cozy and families with children are welcomed as table seats are available. Kitchen Gon offers a “Yoshoku”, the western-style Japanese food, and has various kinds of set meals mainly fried dishes. You may find your favorite “Yoshoku” in this restaurant!
Pine-rice/ Chinese fried rice, pork cutlets and curry

Pine-rice/ Chinese fried rice, pork cutlets and curry / ¥870
On top of Chinese fried rice, there are pork cutlets covered by curry. Fried rice is seasoned lightly and goes well with mild taste curry. Pork cutlets are juicy and soft as curry soaked into them. Our recommendation goes to those who want to enjoy every element of meal and also children as curry is not spicy.
“B” lunch/ Hamburger steak, deep-fried shrimp and croquette or deep-fried white fish

“B” lunch/ Hamburger steak, deep-fried shrimp and croquette or deep-fried white fish / ¥1,500 (Basic price is ¥1,300/ If you order "One-pine rice", add ¥200)
Hamburger steak was juicy and well-cooked, and deep-fried shrimp is meaty. We chose croquette and it best matches with tartar source that comes along. If you order this “B” lunch, white rice comes along. However, you can order “one-pine rice” which is a smaller size of pine-rice by adding ¥200. Several flavors are available among curry and hashed beef source. Hashed beef source is sweet and mild compared with curry and it would be a good choice if you order it when you are hungry!
Deep-fried beef sandwich

Deep-fried beef sandwich
Kitchen Gon has a good selection of side dishes too. The medium-rare deep-fried beef cutlet in this sandwich is really tasty, but the not overpowering. The toast is soft, and delicious even eaten cold!
Smaller portion
4Let's Try!
Smaller portion
There are three portion sizes you can choose from for the pine rice: small, regular, and big. The regular size already has quite a lot of rice, so if you don’t have a big appetite the smaller size should be enough! If you get the small portion, you could also order some of their side dishes.
How to Order

Cup of soup would be served first if you order a set dish. On top of soup, spicy power is sprinkled and it makes this soup more flavorful. This seasoning is set on each table, so if you would like to make your soup or dish more flavorful and a bit spicy, you can put it as you want. A, B, C lunch are available even in a dinner time. When you are ready to order, please ring a bell on your table.

- Order Tips -
We highly recommend that you order “one-pine rice” when you order A, B, or C lunch. This is a small size, so you can taste a bit of their most popular dish in this restaurant!

Their original, fried rice topped with curry and deep fried pork cutlets is really popular. The curry is a bit spicy but overall the taste is rather light and easy to eat! Luckily for women and those with small apetites they also have a small size. Many locals go to Gon and the restaurant is always lively!

This yoshoku style restaurant serves fried rice topped with curry and pork cutlets, and they are tasty, altough a bit on the salty side. What I most liked about this place was the service, you get no special service because you are a foreigner, they just treat you like a normal customer. And they can be quite frank, so treat this as an experience you won't find elsewhere.
