This olden-style restaurant offers a number of delicious and refreshing dishes. Your visit is likely to help you feel calm and relaxed! Prices are reasonable, so it is also popular among young people. If you end up sharing a table with other customers, it might be fun to engage in conversation with them. Customers are always arriving hoping to get a table, so please make sure not to stay around for too long after you have finished your meal.
This place has a cool retro feel. the items are very reasonable and truly a "local's place". It can get pretty packed during lunch time. "Sara Mori" is an original dish that cannot be eaten anywhere else. It has a curry flavor but has a strong dashi (stock made out of various ingredients) taste in the back.
1Must Eat !
Saramori / ¥650
A rice dish with a thick curry sauce made with delicious Japanese-style dashi stock. The perfect way to eat this dish is with rice topped with crunchy tonkatsu pork cutlets covered in plenty of the curry sauce. The highlights of this dish are the crispy spring onions and the deliciously spicy Japanese sansho pepper. Its elegant and refreshing flavor will make you want to eat everything until the end without getting bored. The sauce is slightly thick and very hot, so please take care not to burn ...moreyourself!
2Must Eat !
Cyuhka-soba / ¥500 (L size ¥600)
Cyuhka-soba is another name for ramen noodles. Its light and refreshing soup is made with soy sauce and fresh chicken stock, and the noodles are delicious thin noodles. The pepper that is sprinkled on top of this dish adds a little more impact to the flavors. Ideally you should make sure that the deliciously meaty roasted pork is soaked in plenty of the soup before you take a bite. The portions are relatively small, so we would recommend ordering the L-size for men.
Worcestershire sauce
3Let's Try !
Worcestershire Sauce / Free
It is available on every table, so please help yourself to as much as you like. Ideal for when you want to make your Saramori taste a little bit stronger. We recommend tasting it after adding a little bit at a time. Take care not to add too much as this would make the flavor too strong.
