Enjoying spicy curry surrounded by lots of nature
Very unique atmosphere inside of the restaurant- there are many plants as if you are in a forest which actually is originated in the name of this restaurant. Their famous dish is “Aigake curry”. You can enjoy two kinds of curries in one plate! Various kinds of curries such as wild boar meat, chicken and spinach curries are available. All the curries are flavorful and thick but have a light taste. Black rice used for curries is nutritious and you may enjoy the texture as it is harder than regular rice. Mistress would welcome you in a cheerful mood, so we suggest that you have a conversation with her!

Flavor of chicken is derived from different kinds of spices. For keema curry, a little bit of bitterness of spinach makes it more flavorful, and juicy ground meat and its texture is a good accent for this curry.

The curry at Shinrin Shokudo was really delicious! I have never eaten curry this good! It was so good I finished my plate in under five minutes. The staff is also friendly and they are all good people, although there is always a line in front of the restaurant, I think this curry is worth lining up for. I hope you will visit this restaurant!
