Easy to Access Kuroneko Tourist Information
You cannot miss this tourist information center located about 15-minute from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and it's conveniently located right underneath the symbolic 5-story pagoda (Yasaka-no-tou). Kuroneko Information Center is full of valuable information, area maps and friendly staff. Services include free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, restroom, self-serve tea, and an access to a computer. This tourist information center is so helpful especially in middle of a major tourist spot! Kuroneko Tourist Information is also a branch of Kuroneko Yamato Transport, which provides express parcel shipping services. Therefore, you can send your large suitcase to your next destination within Japan, and it will arrive the following day to most locations. Taking part in the 'hands free' initiative set forth by the country, the tourist information center offers 1-day luggage storage service for a flat rate.

Kuroneko Tourist Information is full of great hospitality. Help yourselves with some tea that is brewed daily. Just follow the sign that is pointed to it. It’s a great idea to just sit back for a while before you head back out to tour the city. Perhaps take a moment and use the free Wi-Fi to check your email, update your Facebook, or research for places to go in the area.
Leave Your Luggage For The Day Or Send It To Your Next Destination Within Japan
Any time while they are open (10am - 6pm), you can drop off your luggage, and they will keep it for you until you come back the same day. The cost is ￥500 per luggage, or for items fit in a box shown on the sign. Many people drop off their luggage before heading to tour around Kiyomizu-dera Temple. It’s a good idea to not carry a lot of things with you while you tour the area as the pathway is full of hills. Also it’s great to keep in mind that you could actually send luggage to your next destination or to the airport.
