They have a lot of useful information about sightseeing in Kyoto, for Japanese and foreign tourists alike. Of course they have pamphlets about events, buses, and famous sightseeing spots in Kyoto all in English. They also have English and Chinese speaking staff so you can ask questions without having to worry about the language barrier.
