Recently, Kyoto City Zoo was renewed! I can see giraffes from the same height with one, and there is a tunnel that lesser panda passes through. It was so cute and it made me smile!

Kyoto-no-mori was just opened on September, 2015. It is an exhibition where you can learn about the relation of natural animals and humans. An exhibition provides some information about nature and it helps you to learn about a conservation of natural environment.

Take No. 5, 32, 100 (Raku-Bus) to "Doubutsuen-Mae"

Take No. 31, 201, 202, 203, 206 to "Higashiyama Nijo," then walk to the east for 5 minutes

Take No. 93, 203, 204 to "Okazakimichi," then walk to the south for 5 minutes

[Subway]
From Keihan Line, transfer at "Keihan Sanjo"station to subway Tozai Line. Walk to the zoo for 5 minutes from "Keage" station, or 10 minutes from "Higashiyama" station.

From JR Kyoto station, take subway Karasuma Line and transfer at "Karasuma Oike" to subway Tozai Line. Walk to the zoo for 5 minutes from "Keage" station, or 10 minutes from "Higashiyama" station.

*Entrance and use of the eastern gate is allowed until 30 minutes before closing time.
