When you see this Japanese dessert, you may notice the interesting figure. This figure comes after the pattern of a hollyhock which is the shrine crest of Shimogamo Shrine. This dessert was made as the main store “Housendo” is located right next to Shimogamo Shrine. Beans were made hard by agar. It has a shelf life of 14 days.
