A store with reasonably priced miscellaneous goods lined up that use Japanese paper
This store was established around 300 years ago and smells great inside because it primarily sells incense. The incense is nice, but I recommend the Japanese paper products that use Japan as their theme. They have things like postcards and origami and they have lots of types of patterns and colors. They are small so they are easy to bring home with you and they are simple to use. Their price is affordable so they can be bought in bunches to give as souvenirs as well.

Top shops and spots loved by our editors and highly recommended to be listed on your itinerary.
Well Worth a Visit
Less known but widely loved by both tourists and locals. Recommended if your schedule permits.
Good for Fans
Hideaway shops and spots of worthwhile destination. Recommended if you are keen on these genres.
Very popular among enthusiasts on these genres. Not always suitable if you are not particularly interested.
A set that includes various types of origami ranging from plain to traditional Japanese patterns. I heard that there are a lot of people who go and buy books on how to fold origami from bookshops after buying origami from this store.
They have postcards from Maiko with drawings of famous locations in Kyoto and Japanese landscapes. How about sending one from your destination to someone back in your home country?
Check it out ！
It will make your clothes smell nice if you put it in a place like a dresser. They have three types of scents: "perfume," "Japanese-style," and "lavender." You can test out what they actually smell like at the store.
How to buy
You need to buy an apparatus to use with the incense when you buy it. I recommend asking a shop assistant for what you need. For other accessories, you will want to choose them while looking at various different colors and patterns.
- Shopping Tips -
They also do printing services for postcards and business cards. There is a branch in Ginza, Tokyo as well.
