It’s nearly Valentine’s Day, and you know what that means, cute Valentine-only chocolates!

While Valentine’s day was originally a day to celebrate the Roman priest St. Valentine, it’s come to be synonymous around the globe with lovers swearing their love for each other and exchanging gifts, cards and flowers.

However, Japan as a unique Valentine’s tradition. Here people give chocolates to important people in their lives.

Because of this, many chocolate shops begin selling seasonally exclusive chocolates ahead of Valentine’s Day. And the stores in Kyoto are no exception. Coming to the city around this time, you’ll come across countless stores lined with brightly colored, love heart covered chocolates.

In this article, we’ll be taking a look at a few of the stores selling cute, yummy and Valentine-exclusive chocolates.
