Machiya(townhouse)-style cafe by the Kamo River where you can enjoy dining all day
KAWA CAFE is located near the Kyoto entertainment districts of Gion and Kawaramachi. The spacious wooden building is in the Machiya (traditional wooden town house) style. The large windows offer a view of the Kamo River, allowing you to enjoy the splendid seasonal scenery while you dine. The bistro-style menu includes quiches, pizza, and more. There is also a plentiful variety of alcoholic beverages on offer, such as wine, beer, and whiskey. For lunch, we recommend the set menu, which includes dessert and coffee. It is open non-stop from 10 AM to midnight. In addition to dining, you can also just stop by to take a break with coffee or drinks. Spend your time enjoying the airy interior any way you like.
