Dishes Not to Be Missed from the Ramen Shop that Knows Everything There Is to Know about Chicken
Kirameki JAPAN is a ramen shop around ten minutes’ walk from Keihan Demachiyanagi Station.
The restaurant, bearing the unique name of “Kirameki,” is in fact a franchise of the popular Kyoto ramen shop “Kiramekinotori.”
Kirameki JAPAN’s specialty dish is without a doubt their “Tori Tonkotsu Ramen.” Not as heavy as regular tonkotsu ramen, but with the characteristic rich flavor of chicken. The chicken stock base (whose recipe was crafted through repeated trial and error by the owner), rich tonkotsu soup, and handmade noodles (made with no preservatives or artificial seasonings) combine in an almost orchestral harmony of flavors! It’s so perfect that you’ll be reminded how sweet it is to be alive after just one bite. The restaurant’s interior is modern and bright, with plain wood tones. There is a university nearby, so the shop is popular among students and always lively.
While Kirameki JAPAN’s related stores (Kiramekinotori / キラメキノトリ, Yu-hi no Kirameki Ichijoji / 夕日のキラメキ一乗寺
, Kirameki ChickenHeart / キラメキチキンハート) all share the same basic premise of handmade noodles and chicken stock, each nonetheless has its own unique characteristics. If you enjoy Kirameki JAPAN, then we highly recommend visiting one of the others as well — you won’t be let down.
