The wall behind the bar, which displays the owner’s carefully selected range of Japanese sake and shochu that can be served for only ¥300 and up. An immense variety of brands awaits you, from staples to rare finds. The owner is particularly proud of his shochu selection. Small numbered stickers adorn every bottle, and a “3” means that you can order one cup for ¥300. The cash-only ordering and payment system is particularly accessible to foreigners. Just put some money in the bowl in front of you, and when you order, the bartender will take the amount they need from the bowl. When your bowl gets empty, simply top it up and order away.
