Mont Blanc Haute Couture

Mont Blanc Haute Couture / ¥1,404
MALEBRANCHE’s Mont Blanc Haute Couture is something you’ll never experience anywhere else. When you order the Mont Blanc, MALEBRANCHE’s pastry chef will approach your table with a cart and prepare the dessert right in front of you. Every aspect of this dessert, from the cart to the personal preperation by the pastry chef, is absoultey exceptional. First the chef will ask you pick a rum, of either Pampero Aniversario or Negrita Rhum, or the alcohol-free syrup. Your choice of rum or syrup will then be mixed with diced chest nuts. These chest nuts will then become the base for a log of airy mousse glacée, which has an ice cream like texture at first but gradually becomes more mousse-like as it warms room temperature. However, the best part of all of this has to be the fresh chestnut cream which the chef lovingly coats the mousse in, giving this dessert an almost impossibly good texture.

3Let's Try!
Yuki no Ka Mont Blanc (Summer Mont Blanc) / ¥1,296
As part of the new “seasonal Mont Blanc” at MALEBRANCHE, they will offer this incredible Yuki no Ka shaved ice Mont Blanc for summer, running from June 15 to the beginning of September. As MALEBRANCHE uses natural spring water from Nikko in Tochigi Prefecture, this unique shaved ice is like no other. The actual shaved ice itself is incredibly soft, doesn’t melt as fast and yet manages to not be too cold. However, there’s really only one way for you to experience the magical texture of this shaved ice, and that’s by trying it for yourself. Once, you’ve tried it, you’ll understand why we think It’s definitely something you can only taste in Japan. Just like MALEBRANCHE’s famous Mont Blanc Cake, this shaved ice is topped with delicious chestnut cream and sits on a bed of creamy Bavarois. To enjoy a variety of flavors, try pouring over the two different types of sauces (vanilla and blackcurrant).
French Pressed Coffee
4Let's Try!
French Pressed Coffee / ¥756
It’s already incredible that MALEBRANCHE’s cakes are made to seasonally match Japanese people’s sensitivities towards the seasons, but they go the extra step and even offer seasonal coffee too. The coffee is brewed on the table using a French press to give you plenty of coffee to go with your cake. The coffee beans are carefully selected each season, for example, Brazilian Sertaozinho beans are selected for their great balance of acidity and bitterness paired with clear flavors, which perfectly complements the freshness of spring. There are other beverages as well like the fruit tea, which feature freshly cut fruit and will be brewed at your table.
