Focusing on sake, Masuya Saketen is a place where variety of sake from all over Japan can be enjoyed. It’s a perfect place to try your favorite type of sake or adventure into one that you never tried before. Check out the display of sake bottles on the black board with a graph near the entrance. There are three ways to drink sake. Drink it room temperature, cold, or hot. For example, The Tamagawa brewed in Kyoto prefecture is recommended to drink it room temperature while Kozosansui brewed in Miyagi prefecture is recommended to drink hot. There are no rules though in drinking sake except for enjoying it and that’s something easy to do at Masuya Saketen.

Nigori sake is also commonly known outside Japan as sake that is cloudy in color. Kiku Taka however, is “usu nigori” meaning it is lightly cloudy. Recommend cold, Kiku Taka is very refreshing and tasty sake brewed in Aichi prefecture.
