An ethnic cafe to pop in for tasty Asian food and handmade bread
Pan to Gohan AOW serves a unique combination of ethnic food and handmade bread. The owner once had a cafe in PAI, a small village of Thailand. There she started making handmade bread as delicious bread were not easily available in the village at that time. Based on these experiences, AOW has become famous offering tasty local Asian food and bread in Kyoto.
The café is located at the corner of the street in Ichijoji. Once you pop in the café, ethnic interior with colorful decoration and radio music in Thai aired makes you feel as if you are in a local canteen in an Asian country. The owner and chef are very friendly and their desire to offer in-house food that is both safe and delicious is most fascinating. Unlike its small size, AOW has a lot to offer.
