Kyoto beef is the Japanese black beef that is raised mostly in Kyoto, and processed in the Kyoto wholesale market. Kyoto beef is ranked on top of the beef quality rating in Japan. ‘Shishikin’ is purchasing whole beef what they are interested. It allows a variety of cooking. By purchasing the whole beef, it enables them to cook according to customer favorites. For example, they can offer the block beef of various type of parts in small potions. Menu selections are customized. Please request your favorite taste or way of cooking.

The signature menu in this restaurant is comparing the taste of Kyoto beef. You can choose from 15 meat parts. If you don’t know what taste it is or you don’t have the specific part you want to eat, please feel free to request your favorite to the staffs. The potion of beef is small, so you can enjoy a lot of parts. At first, a chef shows you the beef before cooking, and then, they will prepare for you, as you want. Onion soy sauce, wasabi and olive oil with pepper sauce are available.
Vegetables / 880 yen ~ 980 yen
Vegetables are necessary with beef. Vegetables are grown up in Kyoto. The ingredients and the way of cooking will change in each season. This photo is Bagna cauda, salad of this season. Please enjoy not only beef but also vegetables from Kyoto.
Sparkling water / 650 yen
We highly recommend to drink sparkling water after eating beef. It helps to digest beef oil. There are 2 kinds of sparking water. The one in this photo is made in Spain and the other one is made in France which is good for a hard water lover. Please refresh with it after enjoying your meal.
