A prominent established old Kyoto café with a lavish food menu
This popular established café has endless lines on days off. There is a coffee bean grinder right there as you walk in, and the pleasant aroma of coffee wafts through the air. The interior décor is based around rich brown wood and tiles, plus fantastic leather sofas, an old clock…It is one of Japan’s long-standing old cafés. On the first floor, they serve up light fare like hotcakes and sandwiches, and on the second floor, they serve western dishes like hamburgers between 11:30 and 15:00. You have lunch or just take a break from sightseeing. *This time we will introduce the first floor menu.
Thick, moist and fluffy. Put on plenty of butter and syrup. Not too sweet, and easy to eat.
Smart Original Blende Coffee
Coffee made with beans home-ground in the shop. It has a refreshing flavor without being too bitter. It is great after your meal, but also pairs well with light fare such as hotcakes.
Huge portions! They are filled with thick slices of fried egg. The balance between the bite of the mustard spread on the bread with the sweetness of the eggs is perfect. Add salt to taste.
