Dragon Burger offers Japanese-style burgers in the heart of Kyoto close to Tofuku-ji Temple
Dragon Burger just opened close to Tofuku-ji Temple in September 2017. The restaurant offers burgers that use local ingredients grown in Kyoto, like the famous tsukemono-pickles of Kyoto, which normally are not found on a burger, but eaten with rice. These interesting taste-combinations are supervised by the two-time Slider Decider winner Adam Rawson, the former head chef of the London restaurant Pachama.
What separates this restaurant from others is not only that their burgers are delicious, but also the beautiful, Japanese interior of the restaurant. Dragon Burger is in a renovated Kyoto town house, and even though the restaurant specializes in burgers, the atmosphere is very Japanese. And not to forget the great selection of wines this restaurant boasts; it’s probably one of the only burger places in the world where you can have Opus One with your burger and fries!
