The menu has English on it.
There is a signboard before the restaurant with the menu on it, and this menu also has pictures on it, so you can look at the pictures to know how many dishes each course contains and what kind of an atmosphere it has.
You can also have lunch and tea at Kikusui.
Lunch, like dinner, can be chosen from Japanese and western options, and the lunch kaiseki, like dinner kaiseki, can also be had in a private room. Compared to dinner time, you can enjoy Nanzenji Sando Kikusui’s dishes for a comparably reasonable price.
For tea time, they have an afternoon tea set and a la carte sweets. All the sweets and sandwiches are handmade in-house by a pâtissier. I recommend their terrace seating for tea time, as you get to enjoy a gentle breeze. How about enjoying a view of the great garden while you have your tea break?
