Nikka G&G / ¥500
A whisky you won’t often see on sale! Nikka, a company based in Hokkaido, makes (made) a whisky called G&G that has a smooth taste that is not too strong. Drink it on the rocks to enjoy the taste of whisky even more, and this is something beginners and connoisseurs are both going to love. *During happy hour ¥250.
Edamame sautéed in olive oil
3Let's Try!
Edamame sautéed in olive oil / ¥300
This is the most basic snack here, it’s edamame! The restaurant is very proud of this dish. When compared to the edamame of other bars, the edamame here have the fragrance of the olive oil. The more you eat, the better they taste, and this is a dish that goes very nicely with whisky too.

Sandwiched between slices of toast you have a Hamburg steak that is made from meat from the famous BBQ restaurant Hiro, and the crispy toast and juicy steak complement each other, and make this simple-looking dish have a surprising amount of depth to it.

When I entered the bar, I was really surprised! I was surrounded by bottles; I was almost shaking with excitement! I don’t really like whisky, but the staff recommended me some whisky high balls that were easy to drink, and I quite liked them. And the snacks were also good, so nothing to complain here!

Their happy hour is from 2 pm to 8 pm (every day!) and everything on their “grand menu” is half price, even rare whisky from overseas, so for a whisky-lover like me, this place was heaven. This bar is run by a liquor store, so they don’t have to go through middle hands, which is why they can sell their drinks so cheaply. The atmosphere is gorgeous and it’s easy to relax here, so I’m definitely going back!
