Story & Recommendation
Enjoy seasonally fresh sushi at a great price
Sushi-ina is located within the COCON KARASUMA building, which is directly connected to the Shijo subway station and Hankyu Karasuma stations by way of an underground concourse. Sushi-ina offers delicious sushi and Kyoto-style cuisine that makes use of fresh seasonal ingredients, and it’s all offered at a great price. Everything from single sushi servings to platters, seafood bowls, and course meals is offered. You are sure to find just the item that meets your dining needs. The shop is clean and bright -- if you have an impression of sushi shops as being difficult to approach, this one is easy to get into. Each menu item clearly lists the price, so this transparent approach is easy on the pocketbook. Located in central Kyoto, the shop is connected to the Karasuma station and is in an area frequented by travelers -- therefore, the staff are well-accustomed to serving overseas guests. The food is delicious and authentic, and you can enjoy sushi, seafood bowls, and more. If you want to have a go at real sushi on your first visit to Kyoto, this place is perfect.
