Kurama-no-himatsuri

Kurama is a rather small town with not very much space, so please expect it to be very crowded. Due to the crowds, it can be difficult to stop and take your time while at the festival, so we recommend that those who are interested look into exactly what they want to see prior to coming. As the festival is quite famous, it is visited by many foreign travelers as well. It is a bit far from Kyoto Station, but it is certainly worth the trip.
