It is extremely dangerous to jump up and down on the rickshaw. Also do not get off of it suddenly when it's moving. Kindly ask the driver first if you need to get off.

This is such a wonderful experience to enjoy beautiful Kyoto. I would love to try it again in spring and autumn as the cherry blossoms and colorful leaves may be gorgeous. If you stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto, you can ride on the Japanese traditional rickshaw from the hotel while wearing Kimono (the professional kimono dressers will get you dressed). As there are some original routes for touring around Gion and Heian Jingu Shrine that Ebisuya and The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto planned, I would like to take advantage of the service next time.

There is nothing like experiencing a rickshaw ride firsthand! Our seats are plush and comfortable, and the roof protects you from both sun and rain. They also provide warm blankets on cold days!
