A Museum with many ancient works of art
The Hosomi Museum was founded in March 1998 and is located in Kyoto's eastern district of Okazaki. The museum is based on the collection of Hosomi Ryo with 1000 works of Japanese art. Items include Heian and Kamakura Buddhist/Shinto art, Muromachi paintings, lacquer ware, tea ceremony kettles, Momoyama ceramics, as well as Edo paintings.
