Kumihimo Practice Workshop : Adachi kumihimokan

- 安達くみひも館 -
Use beautiful ribbons to create your own original piece at this workshop
Kumihimo is a traditional Japanese handicraft where numerous colored cords and ribbons are woven together with a special instrument. The result is colorful and gorgeous. Kumihimo has been used since ancient times for decorations on instruments, Kimono, and hair. It is a unique and beautiful craft, chock-full of traditional Japanese techniques. The kumihimo workshops held at the Adachi Kumihimokan let you thread your own kumihimo and create bracelets, key fobs, Obi fasteners, and other items. The workshop is 1-2 hours long and depending on the course you choose, you will be making different items. Instructors provide helpful guidance, so anyone can make a beautiful piece. Create a memorable souvenir of your time in Kyoto. ▼Click here for Writer's Blog http://sharing-kyoto.com/Blog/b_004/
