At this workshop, use beautiful yarns to create your own original piece
Kumihimo is a traditional Japanese handicraft where numerous colored yarns are woven together with a special instrument. The result is colorful and gorgeous. Kumihimo has been used since ancient times for decorations on instruments, kimono, and hair. It is a unique and beautiful craft chock-full of traditional Japanese techniques. The kumihimo workshops held at the Adachi Kumihimokan let you thread your own kumihimo and create bracelets, key fobs, obi fasteners, and other items. The workshop is 1-2 hours long. Depending on the course you choose, you will be making different items. Instructors provide helpful guidance, so anyone can make a beautiful piece. Create a memorable souvenir of your time in Kyoto. ▼Click here for Writer's Blog http://sharing-kyoto.com/Blog/b_004/
