It is very popular through the year, and many of those who visit Sagano also go to Gioji Temple and Jojakkoji Temple. You should also look around you when you walk from temple to temple. On the way there is the Saga Torimoto area with thatched roof houses and Hirosawa Pond, a famous moon-viewing spot. This area was loved by many an emperor and also by the nobility.
