Japanese traditional cloth with a wide range of uses
Eiraku-ya hosotsuji-Ihee Syoten is specialized in cloth products for over 400 years in Kyoto. Both Tenugui (hand towel) and Furoshiki (wrapping cloth) that are the most popular items are really Japanese traditional. These manufactures have several uses, such as a hand bag, a scarf and more useful things. A staff in the shop tells you how to use them and you can buy the cloth that can be a hand bag and so on. The patterns of items are so unique! The patterns that Maiko-san is on Shinkansen are so interesting and funny.
They could be hanging on the wall with frame like a picture. In addition, the items that are made by its cloth are offered, too! These includes Japanese fin (Sensu) and Gamaguchi (purse) are really traditional.
