Soba-horu: Cutely-shaped Cookies with the Scent of Buckwheat
The store has a three century long history of selling their famous treat, "Soba-horu," with a wooden construction that really gives the impression of its long history. Soba-horu are cookies made with buckwheat flower, with a faint scent of buckwheat and a crisp, crunchy texture. The flavor is simple and timeless, making them popular with all ages.
There are two shapes of cookie on offer: flower-shaped and circular, and they come packaged in tins or bags. Pick whichever shape and container you like.
