Fragrant citrus Yumiso in cute pots
The long-standing Yaosan was founded about 300 years ago. Its specialty is Yumiso, which it sells in cute little lemon-shaped pots. Yumiso is a unique condiment made by adding the mother of citrus fruits, citrons, and several other ingredients into miso. It features the rich flavor and aroma of yuzu with refined sweetness. Yumiso goes well on steamed vegetables, rice and bread.
You’ll also love the look of the store as it’s kept the same traditional Japanese atmosphere as the day it opened.
